Service-Based Policy

Sparkpurgespine provides personalized style selection consultation services, not physical products. As such, traditional product return policies do not apply. However, we are committed to your satisfaction and offer the following policies for our consultation packages.

Australian Consumer Law and Your Rights

Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), you may have consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded. Our policy does not limit any rights or remedies you have under the ACL. If our services do not meet a consumer guarantee (for example, acceptable quality or fitness for purpose), you may be entitled to a remedy such as a refund, resupply of the service, or compensation. The following sections describe our voluntary refund and cancellation terms in addition to your statutory rights.

Return and Refund Period

Cancellation and refund requests are assessed as follows:

  • Refund or reschedule requests must be made before or within the timeframes set out in the Cancellation and Order Cancellation sections below.
  • Dissatisfaction with a completed consultation must be raised within 7 days of the session for us to consider remedial action or partial refund.

Return Conditions

Refunds or rescheduling are subject to the following conditions:

  • You must contact us within the applicable notice period (see Cancellation Before Service and Order Cancellation Policy).
  • You must provide your booking reference and consultation details.
  • For multi-session packages, refunds for unused sessions may be subject to an administrative fee as stated in Multi-Session Packages.
  • Your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not subject to these conditions where the service has failed to meet a consumer guarantee.

Cost of Return Delivery

We provide services only and do not sell physical goods. Return delivery costs are not applicable. If in the future we supply any physical items and you are entitled to return them under this policy or the ACL, we will inform you of any return shipping arrangements at that time.

Return Process

To request a refund or cancellation:

  • Contact us by email or phone using the Contact Information below, with your booking reference and reason for the request.
  • We will confirm receipt and assess your request against this policy and any applicable consumer law.
  • If approved, we will process the refund as set out in the Refund Procedure section. If we decline the request, we will explain why and, where relevant, suggest alternatives (e.g. rescheduling).

Non-Refundable Situations

Subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, the following typically do not qualify for a refund:

  • Consultation sessions that have already been completed (unless the service did not meet a consumer guarantee or we agree otherwise in cases of dissatisfaction).
  • No-shows or cancellations with less than the required notice where our policy states no refund applies.
  • Unused sessions that have passed the validity period (e.g. 12 months) or that we have agreed are non-refundable in the package terms.

Order Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your consultation booking (order) according to the following terms.

Cancellation Before Service

  • More than 48 hours notice: Full refund of your consultation fee
  • 24-48 hours notice: Option to reschedule once without penalty or receive a 50% refund
  • Less than 24 hours notice: No refund, but one-time rescheduling may be available at our discretion
  • No-show: Full consultation fee is forfeited

Dissatisfaction with Service

Your satisfaction with our personalized style selection services is important to us. If you are dissatisfied with your consultation at sparkpurgespine, please contact us within 7 days. We will work with you to address your concerns, which may include:

  • A complimentary follow-up session to clarify recommendations
  • Additional guidance via email or phone
  • Partial refund consideration on a case-by-case basis

Multi-Session Packages

For consultation packages including multiple sessions (such as Complete Transformation or Ongoing Partnership):

  • After the first session, you may cancel remaining sessions for a prorated refund minus a 20% administrative fee
  • Unused sessions do not expire but must be scheduled within 12 months of purchase
  • Sessions cannot be transferred to other individuals

Refund Procedure

Once a refund is approved:

  • We will process the refund to the original payment method used for the booking.
  • Refunds are typically completed within 10 business days; your financial institution may take additional time to post the amount to your account.
  • We will confirm by email when the refund has been initiated, where possible.

Force Majeure

In cases where Sparkpurgespine must cancel your consultation due to unforeseen circumstances (illness, emergency, natural disaster), you will receive:

  • Priority rescheduling at your earliest convenience
  • Full refund if rescheduling is not possible or desired

Virtual Consultations

Our virtual personalized style selection consultations follow the same cancellation and refund policies as in-person sessions. Technical difficulties on our end will result in rescheduling or refund at your preference. Technical issues on the client side do not qualify for refunds but may be eligible for one-time rescheduling.

Disputes

If you have concerns about our services or this Return Policy, we encourage you to contact us directly. We aim to resolve all issues amicably and in good faith. Most concerns can be addressed through open communication before escalating to formal dispute processes.
